I very much look forward to having the Kardashians account for their misconduct in a court of law. I also welcome the examination of any so called evidence to determine whether it was fraudulently obtained or whether it constitutes a forgery."

BRANDY'S MOTHER SUING KIM KARDASHIAN

Reality star Kim Kardashian, who is also a fashion stylist, is being sued by R&B singer Brandy's mother and manager for making more than $120,000 in credit card charges without permission, People reports.

Sonja Norwood, who is also the mother of Kardashian's sex tape partner Ray J, says that she authorized Kardashian to make one purchase on her American Express card in 2004 but she then made unauthorized purchases, including items in two Kardashian family-owned clothing stores, Dash and Smooch, for a total of $120,636. Kardashian's siblings Khloe, Kourtney and Robert Jr., are also named in the suit.

Kim Kardashian denied the allegations, telling People, "We have her signature on all items."

According to mayoral spokesman James Canning, Christine Beatty will receive no severance package from the City of Detroit. Homegirl should have held off on that resignation and forced them to fire her ass. As it stands, she's got no job, no husband, and no money, all because of her intimate relationship with Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, who incidentally, still has his job, his wife and his money. And in case you were wondering, although Kwame, with his lovely wife Carlita by his side, chose his church, The Greater Emmanuel C.O.G.I.C, as the setting in which to offer his apologies to the City of Detroit last Wednesday for boning his former Chief of Staff, Christine Beatty, he and his wife were not there for services on Sunday.

Erykah Uncovered

The always eclectic Erykah Badu talks about life, music and love in a new interview with Giant Magazine. In the issue (set to hit stands on Feburary 11th), Erykah speaks on her exes, Common & Andre 3000:

“I know about the backlash, the ‘Erykah Badu, if you look at her, she’ll make you change gods and wear crochet pants’ backlash,” she says. “But nobody looks at the things that those people have given to me.”

What have they given you?

“Just so much musical freedom. Common is the most humble person I ever met. Kind and generous. He reinforced that in me. Andre is very creative and artistic. All of that that you see of him, that’s all him. That’s how he is, and that gave me a creative push, too.”

Although Badu is fairly cryptic when discussing her old beaus, she allows this brief, whispered indulgence.

“With Andre, we were both very young, so we didn’t know what we wanted or anything. We just knew we were in love, and we didn’t care who saw us. With Common, it was a little bit more mature.”

Aries Spears Got Arrested

I know, who cares right? But anyway, NYPD received a 911 call shortly after midnight Friday from a woman claiming Spears had fondled her at the Comix Comedy Club in Manhattan, where Spears had performed earlier. He was arrested just before 1:00 AM and taken to the station and booked. He received a desk appearance ticket and was released on his own recognizance. The comedy club had no comment on the incident, only to say that Spears would not be performing Saturday night (as had been scheduled) so that "he could deal with his personal issues."

Michael Jordan Swats Away Crazazy Woman in Suit

A Pennsylvania woman has been bombarding Michael Jordan with hundreds of threatening calls and e-mails over the past couple years, says the NBA legend, and he's playing some of that famous defense against her in a new lawsuit.

Jordan is seeking a special injunction against Lisa Miceli, a Crawford County, Pa. woman who claimed back in 2004 that MJ was the father of her son, as the Meadville Tribune reported. But since Jordan took two DNA tests in 2005, proving he wasn't the dad, Miceli has continued a full-court press of "hundreds" of calls and e-mails, according to the suit -- and now things are getting "violent and threatening."

A lawyer for Miceli wasn't immediately available for comment, but a website titled "Lisa Miceli's Official Blog" appears to document someone's very ardent feelings.

Grammy nominee Alicia Keys has officially announced dates for her 2008 As I Am tour. Keys has already toured Canada, Europe, and Asia to promote the top-charting CD. The North American leg of the tour, sponsored by Lexus, kicks off April 19th in Hampton, Virginia.

Keys announced the tour in Phoenix, Arizona, site of Super Bowl XLII (42). She will also perform Sunday (February 3rd), at the Super Bowl XLII Pre-Game Show at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona, which will air live on FOX.

Word on the street was that comedian Mo'Nique and her husband Sidney had an open marriage. And everyone jumped to conclusions! But now she's cleariang it up for the whole world about it.

Mo'Nique told the New York Times:

"When I said I had an open marriage, people automatically jumped to sex. They automatically went there. But I've been best friends with my husband since we were 14 years old. When we say open, we're very honest. There are no secrets. Oftentimes you have people that are married, but they're strangers, and we refuse to be those people."

[If Sydney had sex with another woman] it's not a deal breaker. It's not something that will make us say, 'Oh, we've got to go to divorce court,' because we're very real people and we understand what's for us. It doesn't work for everybody.
